"Tree Sound has offered me an amazing opportunity to start my career in the music business from the very best place possible. During my schooling, I often felt that there were simply too many students in labs in order to get my questions fully answered, or even gain basic experience about all the ins and outs when running your own recording session. Also- I learned quickly, while interning at other studios, that this business is a make it or break it world- and if you can't deliver at a given moment, someone is right behind you waiting to take your place. Unlike other places that I have interned, Tree Sound has given me the opportunity to continue learning, so that I can deliver at any given moment. There isn't a person behind these doors who is looking to step on someone's head to get up the ladder- quite the contrary. My peers and superiors here at Tree Sound have taught me more about my craft, and the business, in a few months than I learned in my entire year at school- and always with an open spirit. - Andrew Moses

"Tree Sound has been a place for me to be me. There is a collective wealth of knowledge that gets passed down. I couldn't imagine finding a better learning environment. From everyone installing solar panels, to working on the farm, to thanksgiving dinner at Paul and Sunshines, the Tree crew is really more of a family then a staff." -Chad McCune

"The experiences and opportunities gained while working at Tree Sound Studios this past year have been incredible. Working with artists like Toni Braxton, B.o.B., Michael Tolcher, Shanell, D Woods, Corey Cato, and Lil Mama has been absolutely mind blowing. Getting to use one of the largest collections of vintage and sought-after gear in the southeast is nothing short of an engineer's dream. Hitting the road with Tree Power and Sound has been a truly awesome experience. I was part of the production staff at the 2009 Bonnaroo Solar Stage for a week, ran sound at Hotoberfest 2009, and have also worked several events at Cherokee Farms in La Fayette, GA. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had at Tree is working with the extremely talented and hardworking Tree Leaf artists, producers, engineers, and staff. Tree Leaf is one of the few organizations that is still truly focused on artist development, a real "diamond in the rough" in today's industry. Tree is a one-of-a-kind place/experience that can be found nowhere else. Hat's off to the greatest/greenest company in the music business. Thanks Tree!" -Ian Blanton

"Being an intern at Tree is hands down the best decision i have ever made. For once in my life I have a job I love. To be working in an environment like Trees is truly a blessing. The entire staff, owners managers, engineers, assistants and interns are extremely friendly, talented and most importantly inspiring. I feel like the staff has welcomed me with open arms. Every time i have questions or concerns the staff of Tree is always there for help and I have never had that anywhere else. I hear stories about interns getting fired because they don't want to clean or go to the farm etc. and I feel like those people have no idea what they had. They don't understand its an honor to be cleaning in this building. Its hard to see me in this building without a smile on my face. Tree is an amazing studio and I would NEVER take this internship for granted. I couldn't thank you all enough for this opportunity." - Mike Lester |
